Overview
SurfPunk is an online action RPG on Steam that earned an IGN feature. It pairs real-time combat with Photon Quantum 2 networking, where enemy behaviour has to stay deterministic and fair across every connected client.

The technical challenge
Enemy AI in a Photon Quantum title must produce identical decisions on every machine — no hidden randomness, no per-client drift.
My engineering approach
I built the enemy AI to run inside Quantum's deterministic simulation so behaviour stays consistent and fair across all clients.
